Column Setup for Versatile Layouts

Columns offer a dynamic method for crafting numerous distinct layouts while maintaining a straightforward organizational system. To utilize columns effectively:

  • Start by establishing a base "Column" class.
  • Configure size variations for different devices: desktop, tablet, and mobile, adhering to a 12-column framework. This widely adopted structure facilitates the creation of diverse website designs.

Using custom columns instead of Webflow's default column element enhances flexibility, particularly for intricate designs, by overcoming the built-in element's limitations.

Grid System for Content Organization

Grids serve as an excellent mechanism for organizing content, especially for components like blog post cards. Similar to columns, a consistent approach to grids involves:

  • Defining each grid with a "Grid" main class, allowing uniform adjustments across all grid sections for margins, gaps, or background colors.
  • Specifying the number of columns per grid for various screen sizes.
